DIY Distress Kits

MM have brought out a distressing kit at an exorbitant price, however we realised that it was perfectly possible to assemble your own at a fraction of the price!
Making memories: Sanding block with three grits,
Gail: Sanding block - cut from the big one (about a foot long) my contractors left
MM: Steel wool-2 pads,
Gail: Steel wool from John's grandpa and a copper pan scrubber from Connie
MM:Emery board-3 boards each with different grit
Gail: Emery boards from Avon - given free
MM: Stipple brush
Gail: Stipple brush - Left from a Stencil Kit
MM: Foam brushes 1" & 2" wide
Gail: 10 cents a piece at WM plus a bunch from John's grandpa
MM: Chalk-3 colors
Gail: Chalk - 48 colors from SU
MM: Ink sponges-3 colors
Gail: Ink Pads - distress inks, CTMH, Fluid Chalk, Versa Color
MM: Exclusive edge scraper
Gail: A metal nail file or my scissors held open in a "V" shape
MM: Bone folder
Gail: Bamboo corner turner from WM
MM: Aging dye-2 single use pouches
Gail: I don't dye that much, but I would probably use RIT dye or reinkers.
MM: Paint comb
Gail: Never thought about having this, but I would probably cut a rubber squeegie or an old rubber scraper to make one
MM: Pounce wheel
Gail: Pattern Marking wheel (.97 at WM)
MM: Chalk brushes-3
Gail: Pom poms or an old blush brush
