June. 1 ~ Dare Day--Dare your friends. Dare yourself. Remember the saying though, "What goes around, comes around!" I triple dog dare ya!
June 2 ~ Leave the Office Early Day--Who can argue with a suggestion like this one? Pack it up & head for the nearest scrap store.
June 3 ~ Donut Day--Chocolate covered & full of goodness, donuts are a special treat. Stop off on the way to school & give the kids some sugar!
June 4 ~ National Cancer Survivors Day--Cancer touches far too many of us. Some find the strength to fight & win the battle. Today is their day. Another day to celebrate their victory & enjoy life. Start a Book of Me & share the joy that is you with everyone!
June 5 ~ World Environment Day--The environment is what we make it. Teach your kids a few tricks today to help improve the environment. Small steps today will make a difference tomorrow.
June 8 ~ Best Friends Day--Pick up the phone & say hello to your best friend. Here's another day that would be great for a Book of Me. Or have a Best Friends luncheon, but don't forget the camera!
June 11 ~ Hug Holiday--I've always loved the quote, "You can't put love in a box, but you can wrap a person in a hug." How many hugs can you capture on film today?
June 14 ~ Flag Day--Show your pride for ol' Red, White & Blue today. Many kids will celebrate in school with flags flying & their voices belting out patriotic songs. You may need to get more red, white & blue cardstock for this one.
June 15 ~ Nature Photography Day--Once again you're being challenged to get outside with your camera. Grab your manual to learn a new tip. Bring along a tripod for some extreme close ups of Nature at its best.
June 16 ~ Fudge Day--There are few things in the world that can top off a great piece of fudge. Kids love making it almost as much as eating it. Search the web for some very simple recipes that the kids will love to make.
June 18 ~ International Splurge Day--Are you still reading? I figured you'd see this as your excuse to hit the scrap store!
June 18 ~ Father's Day--Don't let him fool you! Men want to be pampered just as much as moms on Mother's Day. By the way, when was the last time you did a LO of your dad?
June 19 ~ Butterfly Day--Take the kids to the local garden center & buy a couple of plants to attract butterflies to your yard. It won't take much effort. The amount of fun they'll have chasing the butterflies around the yard will be well worth it.
June 21 ~ SUMMER IS HERE
June 23 ~ Let It Go Day--They made this holiday in case you needed an excuse to release some tension or get rid of some junk from the house. Could it be time to clean out your scrap area & donate unused supplies to a local shelter, school or nursing home?
June 29 ~ Camera Day--Click, click, click! Keep your camera with you all day long. What's a day in your life like? If you have your camera with you, you'll have all the photos you need at the end of the day to create a fun LO.
