Stencils
By rowarrior
Easily sourced from your local office supply store, or hardware store, stencils have become popular recently. Using them for their intended purpose can allow you to paint your own monograms, however just sticking the stencil to the page itself can create a good effect, and several scrapping manufacturers have started producing their own, including MM foams stamps to replicate both the 'inner' and 'outer' of a stencil.
If the stencils you can buy are not the right size or colour for you, you can also use a font, found here. This will allow you to get the exact size you want, and if you want to create your own stencil from cardstock you have already you can print the outline on the cardstock (see the word processing article for details on how to do this)
