I Love Snow

People in the tropics
Will never know
The fun it is
To play in the snow!

I love the feel of new fallen snow
Drifting by my face.
I love the look of flakes
Like bits of dainty lace.

I love waking in the morning
To see snow all around
Covering up the streets
And every patch of ground!

I love the thrill of walking
With those I love
Hand in hand in hand
And glove in glove in glove!

I love to wear brand new boots
Cause last years just won't fit
Oh how I love the snow
Every part of it!!

Snow Fun Without Snow

Winter will come
And winter will go
And through it all
We have no SNOW!

I want to build a snowman
Even a tiny one!
Oh playing in the snow
Would be so much fun!

But here I am
And here I stay
The snow won't come
Cause the sunshine won't go away!

Snowman Soup Mix

Good friends, good fun,good treats
In sunny or snowy weather--
Share a bit of chocolate
And celebrate being together.

Candy canes and kisses
Are good for anytime
And I'm so happy to share them
With special friends of mine!

So mix a bit of chocolate drink
And pop in a marshmellow or two
And soon your snowman soup
Will make you feel warmer through and through!

You must share your Snowman soup
For that's how it was meant to be
You can't just share with one person
But pass along the same treat to THREE!

You will find the good times
Have just begun
If you pass this treat along
And share the fun!

Winter Is Fun

Winter is fun
I love it a bunch!
We have hot soup
For dinner or lunch!

Fall was a bummer
For it meant back to school!
Although sometimes it's not so bad,
Some parts are fairly cool!

Winter in our house smells nice
When in our fireplace we build a fire.
And frost gives the windows a special look
When it decorates our car.

Hot chocolate with marshmellows
Crowded up on the top
And smores cooked in our fireplace
On my list are tops!

I love it when it snows
Summer has nothing so much fun as that
I love to build a snowman
To dress in Dad's old ties and hat!

Winter can be an exciting season
With lots of neat things to do!
And most of all I love the fact
That I share my winter with you!

Winter Is Wonderful

Winter is wonderful
No matter where you live!
Summer has come and gone
With all it has to give!

Fall has slipped away
And Winter is here at last
With sweaters and turtle necks
It passes all too fast!

I love the smell of winter
And fireplaces burning bright
With logs piled up inside
Shedding winter light!

From Alaska to Florida
In Idaho or on California's shore
Winter is so delightful
Each year I love it more!

Winter's Whispers

If you listen
You can hear it
Whispers soft and low.
It means that winter is coming
With delicate flakes of snow.

If you stop for a moment
And take a look around
You can hear winter's whisper
And it is a lovely sound.

The first snowflakes fall softly
And cover up the earth
Providing nature's winter cover
So Spring can bring new birth.

Listen to the whisper
And enjoy winter's grace
Look up toward Heaven
And let the flakes fall on your face.
